A&E SPECIFICATIONS
The backbox for recessed installation of 8" speakers shall be Lowell Model No. P68X-6, which shall measure 10" sq. x 6"D with 0.347 cu.ft. volume. It shall be formed from 18-gauge steel, welded and finished in black powder epoxy paint. It shall be undercoated and lined with a foam pad. It shall feature 1/2" - 3/4" knockouts for conduit on four sides and slots for depth adjustment on two sides. It shall include recessed mounting tabs with 8-32 U-clips for grille installation.
